JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCE PATTERN

POPULAR ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMS:

Here i will be providing the difference between JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCE PATTERN  2020

JEE(Joint Entrance Allocation) it is an engineering entrance exam which is conducted throughout the country.A large number of student took the exams nearly about 12 lakh students apply for the exam.

It is constituted by two  different examination.

1. JEE MAINS
2. JEE ADVANCE.

Both of the examination were conducted by JOSAA( Joint Seat Alocation Authority) for the admission of 

24 IIT(INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY)

32 NIT(NATIONAL INSTITUDE OF TECHNOLOGY)

18 INDIAN INSTITUDE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) and other GFTI

.JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCE PATTERN

JEE-MAINS:- 

It has 2 papers, paper-1 for B-TECH and paper-2 for B-ARCH. The student can opt for both of the exams.

From 2020 a new paper was introduced PAPER-3 for B-PLANNING course.

JEE MAINS is conducted twice a year in which the best of one score is counted to make the merit list.

The paper took in online mode in multiple shift and the merit list is based on percentile.

JEE MAINS is conducted in JANUARY and April.

• JEE MAINS 2020 paper -1 will now have a total of 75 questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics. Each has 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions, where numerical question don't have negative marking. PAPER -1 now is of 300 marks.
• JEE MAINS paper-2 (B-ARCH) has 77 questions ( 25 from mathematics, 50 from APTITUDE TEST and 2 questions from drawing section.

JEE ADVANCE:-

The top 224000 students who qualified the JEE MAINS exam were allowed to appear in JEE ADVANCE for the admission of ( IITs )

It consists of 2-paper (paper-1 and paper-2) and the candidate have to appear for both the paper .

The paper consists of 3-parts (PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,MATHEMATICS).

The total marks allocated is 360 and the paper is conducted in English and Hindi.
